In the commercial where people are talking about how the murders were stopped, one girl says "He was going to rape me" - but later in the movie someone asks "why can't it detect rapes?" and John explains why they can only detect murders.
During the eye removal scene the doctor sticks a needle in John’s arm and was immediately thrown to the table. John grabs the needle from the doctor in one shot, but in a following shot the needle is still in the doctor’s hand.
When John first examines the images of Leo Crow’s murder we see that Jad, the technician, tells John that the Crow murder will take place on Friday, 3:06 PM. The murder would be 36 hours from the present time. Well, if you back track 36 hours from the time of the murder to the present time that they’re in, it would be Thursday 3:06 AM. Shortly later John escapes the Precrime office and goes outside, there’re people working everywhere and it’s daylight, not 3:06 AM!
When John first sees his face on the screen and was shocked to see he’s the killer, he says, “Wait, wait.” Jad, the technician, says, “You say something, chief?” and turns around. John quickly motions his hands to put away the image on the screen so Jad would not see it. The screen is now empty. A little later after Jad leaves the room to get a piece of cake, John goes back towards the screen and behold, the image of his face has magically re-appeared on the screen.
When John is escaping from Precrime in his Maglev vehicle he kicks out a side window and climbs out onto the roof. The vehicle reaches the edge and descends sideways vertically down the highway. John climbs up and appears to be standing on the window that he just kicked out.
The eyes Tom Cruise's character receives are from a Japanese/Asian fellow called Mr. Yakamoto in the movie. But how many Asians has got blue eyes?
Precrime is chasing John Anderton because they got a brown ball, indicating that Anderton would be committing a premeditated murder. In fact, John couldn't and didn't premeditate the murder of Leo Crow because he didn't know who Crow was until shortly before the murder was scheduled to occur. Plus, only when Anderton saw the pictures of his dead son on the bed did he consider killing Crow. Looks like more a crime of passion to me.
