In the scene near the beginning, when David's (Adam Sandler) partner comes to his apartment asking for help, he speaks to David through the intercom. David has to hold the button to talk, and a red light comes on. David's girlfriend makes a remark about his partner, and he gets all insulted, be he couldn't have heard, because David wasn't holding the button down.

Dr. Buddy Rydell (Nicholson) is going through Dave's CD collection, telling him that he needs to quit listening to 'angry music.' The CDs are in regular plastic jewel cases, but when Rydell tosses one of them into the wastebasket, there is a 'shattering glass' sound effect.

In the film Dr. Buddy is driving to work with Dave (Adam Sandler)and they are crossing over a bridge. Dr. Buddy makes a comment to dave about his driving and Dave replies that he has 8 minutes to get to work. Dr. Buddy reaches over and applies the brake and stops the car. The nitpick here is that in back of Daves car you see many cars stopping and swirving to avoid hitting one another. The scene then cuts to an overhead shot of the bridge and now there is only two cars in back of Dave's, and when the scene cuts back to Dave and Dr.Buddy the huge back up of cars are now back.

After former Mayor Rudy Giuliani tells the police to let Dave finish what he has to say to his girlfriend, you can hear what Dave is saying echo throughout Yankee Stadium as if he is talking on the public address system. The problem here is, Dave does not have a microphone, nor are there any microphones shown anywhere near him.

In the film Dave is attending his first anger management class and the group is sitting in a circle. Lou is sitting next to Chuck. Lou is wearing a black mesh top. During the therapy session Lou's top goes from being pulled down to pulled up above his belly. When Chuck goes to get up and confront Dave, Lou's shirt is pulled down and when Chuck goes to sit back down the scene shows the group and now Lou's shirt is now pulled up above his belly.
